Linda has over 12 years of travel agent experience, as well as a combined 25 years in various customer service and management positions. Heidi was born in Bavaria and raised in Berlin, Germany. She studied English near London, French in Paris and Spanish in Barcelona. She joined a large travel agency in Berlin in the Incoming Department handling travel arrangements for individual and group Travel for travelers from abroad. Then she moved to work with a specialist for incentive and convention groups, planning trips to various parts in the world, and escorting the groups to South America, the USA (incl. Hawaii), Japan, Russia and Mexico. She moved to the US in the 70’s and worked for a local agency and AAA in Columbus, Ga for many years as a full service Travel agent handling business and all types of leisure travel world wide. Relocated to the mountains of North Georgia. Heidi has worked for Above & Beyond and Putman Travel for a total of 2 years handling all aspects of travel. Over the years she has visited England, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, France, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, Syria, Lebanon, East Africa and Australia. Glenda Arve has been working in the travel business for 12 years. She has traveled to Europe on two river cruises and to Ireland, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, Alaska and many state on the U.S. mainland. My first trip overseas was in 1976, to Soviet Russia, and I have been hooked on travel ever since. Backpacked thru Europe and Africa before starting my professional career, in 1986, with US Air as a reservations, gate, and ticket counter agent. Then lived in Saudi Arabia and traveled throughout the Middle East for 5 years before moving to the mountains of Western North Carolina and North Georgia. I have been a full-time, full-service travel agent since 1997, and have loved every minute of it.
